About Us
Sylvain Melloul began his hairdressing career in Paris, France, as an apprentice at the age of 14 over five decades ago. He has been a part of the L'Oreal Professionnel Artistic Team, been published in hundreds of publications, worked with A-list personalities and owned a successful concept salon chain and product company world-wide.

Sylvain's vision is to deliver an education where students can thrive by understanding the fundamentally important concepts of cosmetology while expressing their creativity. And that is exactly what Sylvain has done by designing a cosmetology program around what made him successful. You will learn from the proven methods, techniques and philosophies that made Sylvain Melloul a major success! So you can create your own success story!

Sylvain Melloul International Hair Academy is an 8,000 square foot state of the art facility that is conveniently located in the River Ridge Mall. Sylvain Melloul International Hair Academy is committed to delivering an inspiring and motivating educational environment for its students.

Program
Sylvain's vision, philosophy and approach are the foundation of our education at the Sylvain Melloul International Hair Academy. The comprehensive 1,500-hour cosmetology course is taught by experienced instructors educated and trained by Sylvain Melloul. Full-time students can complete the Cosmetology course in less than a year. Part-time program may be available through inquiry.

Practice makes perfect
The program emphasizes practical, hands-on learning for students, and combines hard and soft technique teaching methods to educate and train students to build confidence, speed and ability. Students gain salon experience by working on the Academy Salon Floor designed to emulate a Sylvain Melloul Salon and build professional, salon-ready students through servicing clients with contemporary haircuts, colors, and more. Our students start building their clientele while in school!

Our students get opportunities to coordinate and showcase their creativity in hair, make-up and wardrobe through our fashion shows and photo shoots giving you a creative, visual and artistic learning experience.
