Cosmetology Program: Turn your natural passion for hair and makeup into a lifelong career. Every step through Cosmetology & Spa Academy's Cosmetology program involves hands-on training. You can master cosmetology theory and practice what you've learned in our salon. We offer Vidal Sassoon training and our school is a Pivot Point member.
Esthetics Program: Have you always wanted to help people feel better about themselves or improve their confidence? Now you can - by learning how to perform facials, apply makeup or remove hair as a professional esthetician. With a focus on the medical aspects of esthetics, we can offer the basic training you need to work in salons and day spas. You can also receive advanced training to work in medical offices.
Teacher Training Program: If you are passionate about cosmetology and want to help others enter the field, you can learn to become an instructor. Apply various teaching methods, develop lesson plans, create visual aids, manage classrooms, evaluate techniques, and follow state laws.

All of our programs are designed to prepare you to successfully pass the Illinois State Board Exam.

History

Cosmetology and Spa Academy was founded by Ned Halimi, a former professional hairstylist, salon owner and cosmetology school manager. Halimi has trained in academies throughout the world, which is the foundation for the avant-garde cosmetology training offered at the Institute.
